擒拿grappled
擒拿狀態是指角色受制於另一生物、陷阱、或某種效果。
被擒拿的生物無法移動,並受到DEX-4減值。被擒拿生物在對其拿對象以外的角色攻擊和戰技檢定受-2減值。此外,擒拿中的生物不能做需要兩隻手的動作。
被擒拿的角色如果打算施法必須通過DC=10+擒拿者CMB+法術等級的專注檢定,否則就會失去該法術。
被擒拿的角色也不能作機會攻擊。
被擒拿的角色不能用潛行去躲擒拿自己的對象,就算有特殊能力也一樣,例如沒被擒拿可以用視線躲藏能力躲起來。
如果被擒拿的角色隱形了(無論是用法術還是其他能力),他獲得+2環境加值在避免被擒拿的CMD,但是他不會獲得其他隱形帶來的益處。
A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler's CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.
A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit.
壓制Pinned
被壓制是人物的身體被緊緊固定住只能做一些動作。
被壓制的角色不能移動,並且處於遲滯狀態,同時AC受到-4減值。
壓制使角色能作的動作受到限制。角色總是能嘗試掙脫壓制,不論是用脫逃技能還是戰技檢定。
被壓制還是可以說話和進行心靈行動,但是不能施展需要動作成分或者需要材料的法術。被壓制如果想施展法術必須通過專注檢定(DC=10+擒拿者的CMB+法術等級),否則失去該法術。
壓制是比擒拿更嚴重的狀態,並且效果不互相疊加。
A pinned creature is tightly bound and can take few actions. A pinned creature cannot move and is flat-footed. A pinned character also takes an additional –4 penalty to his Armor Class. A pinned creature is limited in the actions that it can take. A pinned creature can always attempt to free itself, usually through a combat maneuver check or Escape Artist check. A pinned creature can take verbal and mental actions, but cannot cast any spells that require a somatic or material component. Pinned is a more severe version of grappled, and their effects do not stack.

如果你擒抱了一个并不邻接你的目标,那么你需要将这个目标移动到一个邻接你的方格中(如果你的邻接位置没有方格,则擒抱失败)。
格子是分开的,不存在你想的隐蔽,至于掩蔽则看攻击线是否穿越擒抱/被擒抱的友军,来确定是否会造成软掩蔽。
