3E的相关规则没研究过,不过按3R的怪物进化规则,确实只有CR9,只是算法跟老谢的不太一样。
首先因为Monk没有被包括在关联职业内(Associated Class):
Barbarian, fighter, paladin, and ranger are associated classes for a creature that relies on its fighting ability.
于是按非关联职业(Nonassociated Class)计算,牛头有6个种族HD,因此头6个Monk等级计为+3CR(+1CR/2等级),然后高于种族HD数量的余下2个Monk等级就开始像关联职业那样+1CR/1等级:
Adding a nonassociated class level to a monster increases its CR by 1/2 per level until one of its nonassociated class levels equals its original Hit Dice. At that point, each additional level of the same class or a similar one is considered associated and increases the monster’s CR by 1.
此外,因为拥有玩家职业的怪物是默认使用精英属性,所以计算拥有玩家职业的怪物CR时不需特别为精英属性+1CR:

于是,这个牛头的最终CR就是:基础4+职业(3+2)=CR9

至于Monk的精通拌摔,除了可以在第6个Monk等级选择精通拌摔作为职业奖励专长以及即使不满足专长前提也能选择以外,跟其他拥有此专长的人物一个用法,并无特别。
